The JRI-Poland index will include entries from all known Wyszków vital records registers for the years 1874-1896 (1893 is missing).
Goals: Cooperative research of the Jewish population of Kielce and Radom gubernias, which were regions in southern Russian Poland. The SIG produces a quarterly publication, the Kielce-Radom SIG Journal, which includes articles applicable to research throughout Russian Poland, as well as research projects such as Cyrillic index transliterations from LDS microfilms and vital records extractions from the region.
From its early beginning, the Dembitzer Y. M. B. S. strove to aid not only its own members, but also became a leading factor in promoting the welfare of the Jewish community everywhere. Throughout the years, in addition to aiding its members through the payment of sick benefits, endowment benefits, special aid, etc., they also have made regular contributions to many recognized worthy causes in the United States and abroad.
The Polish American Congress is a National Umbrella Organization, representing at least 10 million Americans of Polish descent and origin. Its membership is comprised of fraternal, educational, veteran, religious, cultural, social, business, political organizations and individual membership. The Polish American community prides itself on its deeply rooted commitment to the values of family, faith, democracy, hard work and fulfillment of the American dream. We are present in every state and virtually every community in America, on various social, business and economic levels.
