SYNAGOGUES OF THESSALONIKI--YAD LEZIKARON

Historical Data:  This synagogue was reconstructed in 1984 in a modern buidling and it includes remains from previously destroyed synagogues.  It was built on the site of the former Burla Synagogue, originally built in 1921.

Area/Capacity:   208 sq. m./ 200 persons

Actual Condition:  The synagogue is maintained in very good condition by the Jewish Community of Thessaloniki.
