Historical Data: It was originally built in 1865. It suffered serious damages during World War II and it was rebuilt in 1945 with contributions from the American Joint Distribution Committee. The Synagogue was destoryed in 1957 due to an earthquake and it was rebuilt once again in 1960.

Actual Condition: It is maintained by the Jewish Community of Volos and is in very good condition.
