Historical Data: It was built in 1829 and is situated inside the "Kastro" (the walled city) where the old Jewish quarter used to be. It occupies the site of an older Synagogue which probably dated back to the 17th century.
Area/Capacity: 486 sq. m./ 350 persons
Actual Condition: It is maintained by the small Jewish Community of Ioannina in relatively good condition.
Necessary Restoration Works: Works of regular maintenance are needed.
