| Description | Built in the Classical Revival style, the chapel is one story, rectangular and constructed of |
| Indiana limestone and granite. On the architrave is the Hebrew inscription, "Peace be on this |
| house of Worship and on all houses of Worship of Israel." It is in good condition, unaltered |
| and on its original site. |

| Significance | Arnold Brunner, the architect, reflected a period of architectural disposition in America by |
| designing the Classical style for the Frank chapel. It exhibits growth and success. Brunner also |
| relates the Chapel to archaeological excavations of the 4th century synagogues, whereby he |
| combines ancient structures to conform to then current idiom of classicism. |
