DescriptionToday it is unrecognizable when compared to the original, late 19th century high Victorian

facade which featured gabled roofs, arched windows crowned with pediments, parapet cornices

and a projecting, onion dome turret at the southwest angled corner.

Style

Bibliography

SignificanceFounded in 1866 as a prestigious organization promoting Jewish ties on a less formal affiation

than the synagogue. Devoted strictly to recreation for young men born in Germany or Hungary

who wished to forster the friendship and cultural heritage of their fatherlands. Concordia Hall is

typical of commercial Victorian style and is reflective of mixed popular use.
